Elena began her journey growing up in a low-income neighborhood and has worked very hard for her achievements. She graduated high school and college early, earning a degree with honors in landscape architecture from Colorado State University. She is passionate about helping to provide outdoor access to those who do not have it. She is dedicated to changing the narrative for communities like her own with an emphasis that nature is for everyone!
