Katie moved to Colorado in 2013 to pursue her Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture. Her background in community-based design has sparked a passion for the public process, and the importance of equitable design within communities. In 2012, she studied in Oaxaca, Mexico, which emphasized the exploration of cultural design principles and identifying what people desire in their public space. Katie also has a passion for designing nature-based environments for children. Outside the office, Katie loves to attend local sporting events, try new recipes in the kitchen, and stroll along the South Platte River.
