ANTHONY ‘ZIGGY’ FILES

Associate Principal

Anthony “Ziggy” Files is an urban designer and land planner with over fourteen years of experience in a variety of planning and landscape architecture projects. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado with masters’ degrees in Urban and Regional Planning & Urban Design and bachelors’ degrees in Environmental Design and Economics.

He has worked on a wide array of projects including master planned communities with active adult and mixed-use components. His experience varies from comprehensive construction documents to large scale master planning and submittal documentation.  He has an excellent understanding of design, urban planning, landscape architecture, zoning, and entitlements. Over the last several years he has been a project manager and works with a team to efficiently bring quality design to projects. His education and experience bring a sustainable approach to planning and design with a focus on economic, environmental, and social factors in the design process. In his spare time, he loves spending time with his wife and two daughters. He also enjoys cooking BBQ for his family and friends.
